Video

<aside> 📽️ Start with a sixty (60) to one-hundred and twenty (120) second video.

→ Judges will stop watching at 120 seconds!!!

<aside> 🤔 Your goal with your video is to convince the viewer that:

  1. the problem you are tackling is important (ie why should the viewer care?);

    and

  2. you have developed an excellent solution to that problem!

You do not need to – and you realistically cannot – put ALL the detail you have researched into your video. You only have time for key messages, and the most important supporting data, information or examples.

You can – and generally should – inform the viewer when they can find more detail or supporting information in your written Summary or Detailed Explanation. For example, if you only have time in the video to briefly summarise the economic costs and plan for covering them, you might then point the viewer to see more details in XYZ section of the Detailed Explanation.

<aside> ℹ️ Put the names of all team members under your video.

We strongly encourage you to link your names here to your LinkedIn profiles. Senior professionals – including, but definitely not limited to, the local stakeholders and experts you met during the Expert Studios – will be look at your work. Some may want to follow-up with you about your work, about opportunities to take your ideas forward, and even about job possibilities. You want to ensure you give them some way of reaching you!

<aside> ℹ️ Summarise your Proposed Solution to the problem → in less than 150 words!!!

You should, succinctly, cover key messages about why your solution is the best, including how technically feasible, financially viable, socially acceptable and environmentally sustainable your solution is. You should summarise the solution itself, and how the solution addresses the needs of your key stakeholders.
